This year of 2020, has been a difficult one. The COVID-19 pandemic has left no country untouched. In-person meetups and events are not happening, and various WordPress communities around India have started playing around with the idea of an online event.
We are happy to announce that communities across India are joining hands to organize the first-ever edition of WordCamp India Online from January 30 to February 14.
Yes! You read those dates right. We plan to have our WordCamp over three weekends.
We are planning a unique experimental event that has something for everyone at the same time we do not want to try to simulate a traditional in-person event in an online space.
Since WordCamp India 2021 is a fully online event, anyone from any part of the world would be able to attend. Tickets for the event will be completely free! All you need is a computer or a smartphone with an internet connection to participate in the event.
We will be posting regular updates on this site on the event, including calls for sponsors, speakers, workshop presenters, and volunteers.
